Isaiah 43: 18-19

This happened during my quiet time on August 09. I was so discouraged, exhausted, drained and close to giving up. I was so dissatisfied with myself and so frustrated of all that I could not do. I was about to let go of everything I’d believed in when God spoke to me through this verse.

“Remember ye not the former things…” 

My dear child, your past doesn’t matter. The things that once comprised and supported your happiness are long gone. You have moved on from the things that you used to do.

“…neither consider the things of old.”

The old things do not matter. Don’t wallow in what if’s and what used to’s. Let the old you just be the old you. Don’t yearn over her anymore.

“Behold I will do a new thing…”

I will create something new. Someone new. I will restore you, beloved. You will be like no other. The past is gone. Watch. The new you has come!

“…now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”

You are being renewed, beloved. Your transformation to being that new one starts RIGHT NOW. You know what, your body and soul are undergoing major reconstructions RIGHT NOW. Even though you don’t feel it, I’m still working.

“I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Nothing is too hard or impossible for Me. You will be a creation that is wholly Mine and for Me alone. I will make a way. I can make a way through all your attitudes and shortcomings. I can make something beautiful. Just believe in Me.
