I just want to share this to you, whoever you are reading this:
Recently, there came a time when I was tempted to “lie low” in my academic performance, just to make a point that I am contented with my Father’s love, but I began becoming lax about everything.
Then, as I was walking home one night, God told me this: "Shine, because you have the capacity. Don’t settle for second best if that’s not what I’ve prepared for you. My children do not retreat to the shadows just because they don’t belong here. Moreover, you can be the best here, child. Don’t mellow down."
This applies to all of us who have this awesome and beautiful relationship with the King of kings. As His ambassadors here, we can stand out. We can stand high, and that’s because of His grace.
Hey, beloved. You are capable of so much more. Don’t let anything hold you back— not only in school, but also at work, at home, or at church. God equipped you fully to be a testimony of His love, and a blessing to others. Just trust Him.
Even if you think it’s risky, God is still confident. Why? Because He has promised that He will never abandon you, and He is serious about that. Don’t let fear delay you from the awesome and bright future that God has prepared for you.
"My strength will always be with him, my power will make him strong." —Psalm 89:11
I realized that the children of the Lord where not made for mediocre or boring lives. God desires so much more for us, and even when we don’t see it, God is working all things together for our good.
As a student, God has given me opportunities to share His love, and my experiences in school were testimonies in the church. Dear student, if you think that being used by good only involves church, then you’re wrong. Every part of your life is intricately designed by God, so He can show His glory through you. Don’t miss the privilege.
