No, I am not ‘misinterpreting’ or ‘manipulating’ the Bible.
In the Original version of that passage, the word for love was agape, which means the LOVE OF GOD. I hope that’s clear. :)
So, when it seems as if you are forgetting what it means to be loved by the King of kings, turn to 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, beloved. ^^ This is your Savior.
Jesus is kind.
Jesus does not envy,
Jesus does not boast,
Jesus is not proud.
Jesus is not rude,
Jesus is not self-seeking,
Jesus is not easily angered,
Jesus keeps no record of wrongs.
Jesus does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Jesus always protects,
Jesus always trusts,
Jesus always hopes,
Jesus always perseveres.
Jesus never fails.” —1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 (via godsradicaldaughter)
AND He has already given you His approval, blessings, and favor through Jesus Christ. Beloved, stop struggling with trying to be right in front of God, because you ARE already right in His eyes. Just rest in His love and grace, and come to Him in the name of Jesus. ♥
^_^
Please, any suggestions??
“HELLWEEK”does not exist in my Papa Daddy’s vocabulary!!!“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” —Philippians 4:13
Hi, beloved.
The love of God? Jesus nailed on the cross to save you? His desire to bless you? His plans to prosper you? ALL OF THEM ARE REAL. They are not lies.
It’s true that you are free, and you are under God’s waterfall of forgiveness, goodness, provision, and preferential treatment! You are blessed! You are loved! You are favored! :’D
