“Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ”—Philippians 3: 8
“It’s not that He loves what you did, but He loves who you are. You are His. The One who has the right to condemn you provided the way to acquit you. You make mistakes. God doesn’t. And He made you.”—Max Lucado
It's been a week a yet I still dont get a job. I already tried to apply to different companies and no one hire me. Im getting depress each time I went home and they would asked me what happen. Im praying each night to God that whatever plans He have, let it happen. But Im losing hope now.
DON’T LOSE HOPE. Your hope will never disappoint you, because God loves you(Romans 5:5). I know that right now, things may seem impossible, but you have to know that God knows your needs, and He won’t ever fail you. It is all in His timing. He is the one who makes all things work together for your good.
All of the plans of our Father are good, and perfect. His will has always been to prosper us. What He wants for you is only the best. You are His child. He is not the kind of Father who will just leave you on your own(Galatians 4:7).
Your Father in Heaven is so rich, that He won’t just give you a job. He will put you in a position where He will be glorified. Don’t focus on your condition, beloved. FOCUS ON YOUR POSITION IN CHRIST. You are favored, you are blessed, you are loved, and you are destined for great things as far as Jesus is concerned.
I will be praying for you. Don’t. Ever. Worry. God’s got you. See, He won’t ever let a child of His down. You will never be put to shame. Your hope and faith will never be in vain. Also, beloved, you know what, your life here on earth is not dependent on your upcoming job. It is dependent on your Dad Himself. Have peace and confidence in His timing.
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. [2 Corinthians 9: 10]
In the end, He will be glorified. Just hang on. Stick around. He has a miracle for you. Great things are coming.
Soooo I've been a Christian all my life. But recently one problem thats come up is that im sooooo obsessed with being popular. Like, I feel like if I dont have a million friends, Im a loser. And so im being mean to other people and everything and that completely isn't me. And I know that being popular isn't going to fulfill me because only God can do that, but I can't get it out of my head. Any advice?
The call to impress, or the call to fame is a huge lie. Beloved, you are not here to collect lovers or admirers, but to be a testimony for God. Just because you don’t have a million doesn’t mean you’re a loser. That’s just what some people made up. Also, it doesn’t matter what others think. What matters is what God thinks.
And as far as God is concerned, you are gorgeous, and He has a purpose for you. You are His beloved. You are perfect in His sight. You are special. Even if all the people in the world will not see that, God does, and that’s the most amazing thing there is: that He knows your worth.
That’s why you’re here. We don’t just make friends. We impact people. We draw them to Jesus. We’re here because Jesus loves us, and we know that He also loves those who don’t know Him yet. Beloved, you have to stop focusing on yourself, or on others. Indulge yourself more on the love of Christ, instead of other people’s opinions. Because His love is the only thing that lasts.
All those people will go away the moment you make a mistake, but Jesus won’t. He knows you inside-out, and has never once thought of leaving you. Now, have more of Him, beloved, and you’ll find that you have more than enough love, and there’s no more room for fame or recognition.
You are loved, blessed, and favored in the Beloved!
Hello :) I have a question, I hope you can answer me: I really enjoy doing sports, like running, Zumba, bicycling and just generally dancing around. Is this ok with being a christ? Or is sports something a christ shouldn't do? I'm really confused...
Of course playing sports and doing those is okay for a Christian, beloved. It is our goal that in everything that we do, Christ will be glorified. That’s what our talents for us. He wants to use us in all things. :)
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10: 31)
Shine His light wherever you go, beloved! You are blessed, loved, and favored in the Beloved!
“There is no love, sweeter than the love You pour on me.
There is no song, sweeter than the song You sing to me.
There is no place, that I would rather be,
Than here at Your feet, laying down everything.”—I Surrender by Kim Walker
I strongly believe that no person who has a revelation of how much Jesus loves them will be able to do that. It is impossible for children of God to fall for things like that, because only the love of the Father satisfies. Ü
However, no Christian is perfect. To those who have done that, God still loves them. Nothing they do will ever change the love of God. They will still be accepted, and they are still blessed. It doesn’t matter what each of us have done, or not have done. God still sees us all the same(Galatians 3: 26-28).
Whatever each of us may have done, we can still stand up again, and continue in the love of our Father, because His grace is based, not on what we do, but on what His Son did on the cross. We are free to come to Him. We are still His.
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. Romans 6:14
I think your answer to the anon question on girlfriend thing was very good. I just want to encourage that person because almost all of my past girlfriends have been non-christian, and I know how hard it is to have someone you love that doesn't share your views. I think what you said was true, and that she should stay strong. She is also doing well cause I think sometimes loving someone and being with them is the best way to 'get through to them'. I would advise being a bit brave and reckless. Gb
I am a christian girl dating a non christian boy, what is your honest opinion?
My opinion? Beloved, whatever happens, stand firm in your faith, and hold on to the LOVE that is much greater and stronger than any other ‘love’ that is found here on earth. That’s Jesus.
I know that you must really care for him, so I want you to do not compromise about your faith. Don’t let anything influence you, because YOU are the child of God. Therefore, it is in the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in you to influence him to Christ. In every relationship, there must be a third party. That’s Jesus. :)
Also, beloved, remember that the love you feel is not from you. It’s from God(1 John 4:7). Keep on praying, and remember that no matter happens, nothing will change your standing in Christ. You are loved, you are blessed, and you are a Princess of God. Remember that. Ü
Even when things are rough, I refuse to be overwhelmed by fear. I refuse to be overcome by the Enemy. My Father's love is stronger. His grace is unshakable. I know that what I'm experiencing now are all empty threats. My God is still more than able.
You are s amazing, I can't even imagine that there is someone like you that are existing can you help me? i am so confused now. I always tried to convinced myself that I am loved by God but still there's always a negative thought that comes my way. I know it's a sin but I cannot stop myself asking Him, If You really love me and hear my prayer, why still nothings happen? :( what do I need to do? I hate this feelings.
Beloved, read Ephesians 3: 14-21.
When your thoughts and emotions condemn you, just look at the Cross, because that is where the love that God has for you is forever displayed. Nothing can take away the love of God from you, not even your doubts. Even when our thoughts change, God’s love for us never will.
God has the power to do much more than you can ask or imagine. You may not see your prayers answered now, but you will, beloved. You will. However, is the love of God proved only in what He gives us? NO. The greatest demonstration of God’s love for us is the Cross— His Son hanging on that Cross just to save you and me.
So the Bible says, If He has given us His Son for our sins, how much more will He give us other things? You see, God knows what you need beloved. You have to trust that God knows what is best, and it His will to prosper you. You have to be confident of His timing.
Cast all those thoughts and doubts away. They don’t have the power over you, unless you let them. Don’t live by your feelings. God has great plans for you, and you only have to hold on to His unfailing love to see them happen.
hi ate umm incoming 4th year po ako and i heard naka-pass ka po sa UPLB, gusto ko rin po maka-pass to any branch of UP so i asked for advice from isa pang taga UPLB sabi nya mag-enroll daw ako sa isang review center, so I did, pero kadalasan po nahihirapan ako. i feel so inept. ang hirap pong makipagsabayan. 2nd week na po namen pero parang hindi naman po ako nagi-improve :( kung nag-enroll rin po kayo sa isang review center, any advice? or kung hindi, any advice to pass the UPCAT? THANK YOU!!!!
Hey! I did not enroll to a review center to pass the UPCAT, so hindi ko alam kung ano ang tinuturo dun. I and my friends just reviewed a little on our own.
Here’s my advice, beloved: GO BACK TO THE BASICS. You know, mga foundational lessons natin sa Math, Science and English. Start with memorizing and studying formulas in Science, then go master Algebra and Geometry, ‘wag mo na masyadong pansinin ang Trigo. ^^ The UPCAT is not predictable, so you have to make sure that you know the basics, before moving on to the more complex lessons.
Don’t worry about your performance in the review center. Huwag kang magdepende dun. Magdepende ka sa kung ano ang kayang gawin ng Diyos mo. Look at what happened to me. Haha. I also suggest that you review on your own, and before you start every session, PRAY. After reviewing, PRAY again. Dapat sandwich. ^^
Acknowledge your Father as your sole giver of wisdom, and depend on Him to equip you fully for that test, and trust that whatever may be the result, He will always have greater plans for you. Remember, my dear, that God’s plans for us do not stop at college. :)
You are blessed, loved, and favored! I will pray for you. God is your wisdom. Amen? Don’t lose hope. Siya ang magpapasa sa’yo. :)
do you have to pray out loud to say a prayer? will God still hear me if i say it in my head? thankyou for taking time to read this
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21: 22)
The way you pray doesn’t really matter, beloved. God will still hear you whether it be done loudly, or in your head. What matters is that every prayer you say must be said with FAITH. The only difference that our prayers make is the faith we have for what we are praying for.
See, when you ask from your God, you have to be CONFIDENT and BOLD to ask, because you know that He is your Father, and you know how much He loves you. Remember that prayer is talking to God. See, there’s a big difference if you’re talking to your boss, and to your dad. You have to know that the One you’re praying to is your Dad, beloved. Be confident. Our prayers are fruits of our faith, and our relationship with Him. :)
Don’t doubt. All His promises are YES through Christ(2 Corinthians 1: 20). Believe that you will receive. I’ve got to remind you: what is the promise of God in Christ? It’s to have a life in its fullest, most abundant, and best(John 10: 10).
You are blessed, loved, and favored in the Beloved!
