Hello beloved. You are beautiful too. I see you just like her. Gorgeous. Radiant. Perfect. I love you, and someday, you'll be marrying a prince too. A prince of my own choice. A prince that I personally picked to fulfill your dreams and fantasies. You will find him one day, in my perfect timing. I will be with you every step of the way, in the moment you meet him, up to the time you walk down that aisle. I will never leave you.
When I was watching the Royal Wedding yesterday via the TV, I told God, “Nice one, Dad. You did a wonderful job with Kate’s life. Look, she’s so gorgeous and blessed that you chose her to be a prince’s partner for life. That sure is a real God-scripted fairytale. Praise be to you, Daddy.”
In one thrilling moment, God whispered to me, “You’re my princess beloved. I have a much better fairytale story in store for you. I’ll write your story in ways you do not expect, in designs with such beauty they will take your breath away.”
And that’s when I know, I don’t have to be jealous. I am the King’s daughter. Yeah!
Princesses always find love in a somewhat magical way.
Those stuff you read in novels are NOTHING when compared to MY story, especially now that it is being written by my AWESOME father. :D
This is no cruise ship; it’s a battleship. We aren’t called to a life of leisure; we are called to a life of service. Each of us has a different task. Some, concerned with those who are drowning, are snatching people from the water. Others are occupied with the enemy, so they man the cannons of prayer and worship. Still others devote themselves to the crew, feeding and training the crewmembers.
Though different, we are the same. Each can tell of a personal encounter with the captain, for each has received a personal call. He found us among the shanties of the seaport and invited us to follow him. Our faith was born at the sight of his fondness, and so we went. We each followed him across the gangplank of his grace onto the same boat.
There is one captain and one destination. Though the battle is fierce, the boat is safe, for our captain is God. The ship will not sink. For that, there is no concern.
“For though you may think that you are the one determining your destiny, God has already determined your destiny, and your role is to respond or not respond to what He’s called you to be. He’s the One who has dug out the trench of the river of history and your choice is simply whether or not you want to be obedient or not.”—Max Lucado
I don't care even if it was your doctor, or your professor, or your parents, or your friends who said that. Don't feel down, because God, He knows everything. He knows better. Don't lose hope. He ALWAYS has the LAST WORD. Don't stop believing in him. Don't let them bring you down, beloved. They're just wasting their time. God will lift you up. ALWAYS. He will never get tired doing so.
“On one side stands the crowd.
Jeering. Baiting. Demanding.
On the other stands a peasant.
Swollen lips. Lumpy eye. Lofty promise.
One promises acceptance,
the other a cross.
One offers flesh and flash,
the other offers faith.
The crowd challenges, “Follow us and fit in.”
Jesus promises, “Follow me and stand out.”
They promise to please.
God promises to save.
God looks at you and asks…
Which will be your choice?”—Max Lucado
I just want to stop by and ask you if I can be yours forever? I know that many times have I said that I surrender my life to you, but only now have I realized the truth of what I was talking about.
Surrendering my life to you means a life of comforts and freedom to dream anything and achieve anything exchanged for a life of simplicity devoted to you. It means that I am no longer my own. It means goodbye to all my dreams, hopes and plans for the future, because your plans and purposes for me must take their place. It means a life of giving you glory. It means a life of devotion to you, to my mission, and to my fellow believers.
It’s more than just a complete attendance in the church. It’s more than just faithfulness. It’s more than just praising you. I now realize that surrendering my life in your hands means that I must take on the path of Jesus. I shall leave my doubts, fears, selfish dreams and desires and take on the path you have for me.
I shall be naked. I shall have none of this world, but only of yours, Father. Nonetheless, I’ll take it. I surrender my life to you; this time, for real. Wholly, I am yours. I am yours. I am yours.
Your father never intended for you to be alone. He made you in such a way for a purpose. He made you to be a part of someone else's life. He made you to touch other people's lives. You are an important variable in creation. Not a single part of your being is insignificant. Don't worry. He has a plan, and you are a wonderful part of it.
guys! follow him! :D. i’ve never even met this guy, but he is man of faith. he’s a cousin of a really really close friend of mine. i kinda only know him through my friend’s stories, but i feel blessed with this guy’s life. :D
Only by Your Word, oh God, and I'll receive the faith to walk on oceans deep. By your name, I have the strength to be able to do anything. I can even turn this world up-side down because you are with me. You are my strength. The reason for everything. ♥
