I don't have to be sad and down. Whatever is happening to me right now, God knows it, and He knows what He's doing. It's hard, but I have to remember that His love for me never changes. Situations change, but one thing doesn't: I still have God. God still loves me. He still holds me secure and safe, even though I'm crying, depressed, or discouraged. I have to remind myself to believe in Him.
“The battle is not over. God didn’t design this earth to be just a waiting room for eternal life; eternal life begins at the moment Christ enters your life. There is so much to experience, so much to accomplish, so much fulfillment and potential available in this life.”—Ken Davis
2011 is almost over. Inbox me something you've always wanted to say to me. I promise it will stay between us. Post this on your blog. Maybe people will surprise you.
I have something I want to tell you:
Thank you so much. You have no idea, but I feel more blessed with all of you guys. There are so much people out there who love God, and you are one of them— and you are beautiful.
What I post here in this blog is nothing— absolutely nothing— compared to your deep, personal relationship and encounter with God. I pray that this year, God will work wonders and miracles in your life. Whatever you may think of yourself doesn’t matter. God has a plan for you; he will use you, because He made you in such a way that you are a crucial part in His plans for this generation. You can always trust in Him.
I pray that He will surround you with good people this year. Let His face shine upon you. May this year be the moment when people will look at you, and see God’s hand upon you. However, remember that you can still trust God the most. No one can love you the way God does. No one knows you and values you like Him.
This year, no matter what may be the difficulties you may encounter, I pray that God will remove the scales from your eyes, that you may see your life through His eyes. Focus on the cross, beloved. Focus on the love God has for you. Meditate upon it. Hold on to it. Remember and believe that in all things God works for your good. You are precious in His eyes, bought by the blood of Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing can be against you, this year, because HE IS ON YOUR SIDE.
I pray that God may renew your faith, peace, hope, joy, love, and strength every single day that follows after this. YOU ARE BLESSED AND FAVORED, BEAUTIFUL ONE!
“Many people say, “Who will show us better times?”
Let the smile of your face shine on us, Lord.
You have given me in greater joy
than those who have abundant harvests of grain and wine.
I will lie down in peace and sleep,
for your alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.”—Psalm 4: 6-8
It’s okay, but that doesn’t mean I have to stop praying. Everything that happens in my life, or in others’ lives is not up to me, anyway. It’s all in God’s hands. I believe that prayer is an act of dependence to the Almighty Father, an acknowledgment of His love, power, and omnipotence. I pray because I know that my God will do something.
Even though some people may not believe in the power of prayer, I’ll continue praying. I won’t stop. I pray for people because I love and care about them, and I firmly believe that God knows what’s best for them— much greater than they do.
I feel so happy. I am so full of… LOVE. I know that this is Jesus who’s filling me with me joy. He wants me to not look at what is on the table, who is around me, or how many are my stuff under the Christmas tree. No, He gently touches my face and turns it toward Him.
"Child," He says, "look at me. I am your Christmas. I am your warmth tonight. I am your joy. I am your satisfaction. I am your fulfillment. I am your date. I am everything you can ever want, or need, or wish for. Tonight is all about the LOVE I’ve poured out to you two thousand years ago, and up to this day. Tonight is about me, and about you, too.”
Tonight, everything feels so right. Jesus is with me. I can smile all night, because it’s our night. I am not alone.
I am so giddy with excitement now, and I just want to share this with you. God is AWESOME! This Christmas will be wonderful to all of us. I just know it! The reason why Jesus was born in a manger in the first place was because of His deep and vast love for us. For me. For you! You are special!
You see, the greatest gift you can ever receive is already in your heart: JESUS.
“This season is about Jesus, but it doesn’t stop there. My life is about Jesus too. It’s about how He can be glorified, known, and lifted up high in my thoughts, words, and actions. It is also how He chose to love me despite of my inconsistencies, flaws, vanities, mistakes, and stupid habits. It’s about how He never gives up on me; He is always there for me, wiping the tears from eyes, lifting up my face from shame. It’s about how He found a child He loves so much in the face of an imperfect person like me. Yes, everything has always been about Him: JESUS.”—godsradicaldaughter
